We’ve all heard of Rodan and Fields, but until this summer I had never tried any of their products, mostly due to cost. After years of buying cheaper brands that didn’t quite measure up in quality and results, I decided to reach out to R+F and give them a shot. The first thing I tried was a newly launched set of face masks, and I was happily surprised in the best way.

For years, Rodan and Fields has been helping our skin survive all of life’s hurdles with their different collections. This summer they added a fun face mask to each collection and encouraged us all to #Mix-N-Mask it up!
Unblemish Clarifying Mask:
for treating acne
At first glance, this mask might look like a regular, boring white face mask. But wait! …As soon as you begin to apply it, the little beads inside pop and start to turn it purple! This mask is great for banishing blemishes and reducing breakouts. It also helps eliminate excess oil.
My personal tip: I LOVE this mask. It was the first one I tried and my favorite of the collection. I suffer from hormonal acne pretty frequently and so I use it whenever I start to see a breakout coming through. The nice thing about this one is, you can treat it like an area spot treatment too, so you save can product and make it last!
redefine rejuvenation mask
for diminishing the appearance of fine lines and pores
For the days when your skin need a boost of hydration, the Redefine Rejuvenation Mask will be your best friend. This super refreshing mask works in two parts. First, it will bubble up and leave behind little white specks of jojoba oil, which you will then rub into your skin to make the bubbles turn into a cream. After rinsing, your face will be plumper and more hydrated!
My personal tip: I love to use this in the mornings when I’m feeling extra tired or before I have any on-camera jobs/photoshoots/auditions!
reverse radiance mask:
for brightening and evening out skin tone
If you suffer from dullness and uneven skin tone, this is the mask for you! It goes on smooth and basically turns you into a golden goddess for 10 minutes while it works it’s magic.
My personal tip: I try to use this one 2-3x per week to keep my skin looking glowy and alive!
Soothe Rescue Mask:
For calming sensitive skin
For the days when your skin is feeling irritated and raw. This green clay mask with reduce redness and is great for feeling relaxed.
My personal tip: I like to use this after long days in the sun, after getting facials if my skin is feeling irritated, or when I’m doing “at home spa days”.
From the very first time I tried these, I was pleasantly surprised by the uniqueness of each line. This was not the regular, boring face mask experience I was used to…this was FUN. I was not expecting the colors and effects of each different mask! It was awesome.
I also love that they are a quick step to add to your beauty routine. An extra 10 minutes that can easily be done while multitasking, not to mention being able to do multiple ones at the same time!
My FAVORITE part of this collection is mixing and matching!
Although each mask is categorized by Rodan and Fields’ core collections, you can save time and product (without sacrificing quality!) by mix and matching them to create a multi-mask look.
