decorating made easy

You’ve done it. You packed up all your stuff, you chose a new city/house/place to live, you’ve made the move, and now it’s time to decorate!

This always seems to be the most anticipated, exciting, and also most tedious part of moving. I’ve moved 4 times in the past 3 years (twice were cross-country!), and I always find myself taking weeks to finish the “hanging things on the walls” part of the decorating process.

How I Used to Find Wall Art

Typically, I’d spend a few days going to all my favorite places to look for beautiful wall art – Home Goods, Ross, World Market, Target, etc.

Every now and then I’d find something good — but I never found anything great. I was also limited to the types of art they carry (mostly canvas it seems), and because of the constantly changing nature of these store’s inventory, I’d either have to choose from what they had in stock that day, or, make several trips over the course of a few weeks, constantly searching for the perfect piece and subconsciously stressing over when it would finally be done.

Not anymore, my friends!

A better way to find wall art

I am happy to say (and share)  that I’ve found a better way to shop for wall art!

It’s a website called Fine Art America, and it’s a huuuuge online marketplace (the biggest in the world actually) full of every kind of wall art you could possibly imagine.

You can choose from thousands of paintings, photographs, and illustrations from independent artists. Any design you like can be bought as a canvas print, tapestry,  framed print, poster, art print, metal print, wood print, and more.

They also have tons of other unique items too…shower curtains, yoga mats, beach towels, etc. so you’ll definitely need to spend some time browsing the inventory.

My favorite collections

The best part about  it is, they are affordable, convenient, and beautiful. Which pretty much hits all the requirements of things I like in life!

I hope you enjoy this new experience next time you’re redecorating. It definitely helped me, and I know it will help you too!

Don’t forget to save this post for later!

Until Next Time,
